Just to quickly bring you up to speed with the rules

Every month I will post one puzzle in this thread and you can complete it any time you'd like. Then, send your solution to RIVER FENWICK. You can complete any past tasks.

Sudoku rules: All you need to do is to fill the squares with numbers 1-9 so that they do not repeat in any vertical or horizontal line.

OCTOBER

Time for October's Sudoku puzzle! I asked to create and post this puzzle as Louis' assistant, and he is so gracious, he agreed!

Sometimes you'll see these puzzles with letters. They look a bit annoying, but the easiest way to solve them is to trade out the numbers for letters.

This is the system I used for this puzzle:

1 = g

2  = e

3  = p

4  =T

5 = w

6  = E

7  = t

8  = i

9  = r

 

Go back and recreate the puzzle, using these numbers in place of the letters. When you aren't given numbers, simply write down the numbers 1 - 9 and assign a letter to each number.

Sometimes letters will be capitalized or in a different color. Usually this is because the letter is repeated. In this case, there are 2 T's and 2 E's.  OH and sometimes these puzzles with have symbols.

Usually, you'll have to turn in the solved puzzle using the letters, but not this time.

 

UPDATE: Solve the puzzle with the numbers only and send your solution to me as a Dungeons pm for 5 scales 

Unscramble the letters. It's the name of my least favorite Death Eater. Tell me and River Fenwick in a Dungeons PM  who that Death Eater is, and I'll send 50 beans to your HOL account.

I decided to switch things up a bit this month and use letters instead of numbers! The sudoku uses letters from the word "SLYTHERIN". It may help to change the letters to numbers to solve, then back into letters to submit.
