Miette grew up a single child to a pure blood Enchantress and a muggle father who worked as a bank loan officer. She didn't know she had any magic blood in her nor that her mother was a witch til she was almost 9 years old. She just thought her mom had an understanding of the nature world. Animals would come up to her mother and it would seem like they would carry on a conversation, but thats not possible Miette thought. One day without her knowledge, at the age of 8 and 11 months, Miette was in the woods with her mother and she started to do a little dance. This dance was a dance of the butterflies. Little by little and in bigger swarms, the butterflies came to Miette. This was the moment She knew she was a bit different and can do things other children couldn't.
Before Miette could start school at Beauxbatons her father was transferred to London to work. She was sad because she wanted to learn magic properly. But as luck would change, she received a letter from Hogwarts and would be starting school there.
When Miette first arrived at the school, she was surprisingly NOT sorted into Slytherin. She was a Gryffindor Lion. She felt her mother's braveness and loyalty helped place her in the house but her heart told her she belonged in Slytherin. She had her dad's drive to get further in life. However, she accepted her fate to be in Gryffndor and made her best of it. She knew what she had to do to achieve her goals.
While at Hogwarts, Miette was a natural at Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures. There would be often times she would break rules just to spend time the Forbidden Forrest. Other classes she excelled in were Charms and Divination. She didn't really care for DADA or potions, therefore her grades suffered in that respect.
Her time at Hogwarts proved to be positive. She was a prefect and a head student and helped create the Enchantress Club for Young Witches. The club was created her third year and lasted 5 years after her graduation.
After she left Hogwarts, she went to South America and China to work for the Magical Nature Habitat for Non-Magical Creatures. She became president of the M.N.H.N.M.C. during her 2nd year with the organization. She was the youngest president of the organization and stayed with them for 6 years. While her time at M.N.H.N.M.C. she became aware of the muggle perception of "monsters" in their film, , tv, and literature. This bothered her greatly because she understood that these "animals" were not monsters. They were merely misunderstood creatures that were being driven from their natural habitat and only reacting accordingly. She understood however, she could not reveal the magic world to the non-magic world so it became her mission to educate both the creature world and human world (magic and non-magic) about each other.
She taught herself to assimilate into muggle society, which was easy because of her father, so she can discuss why these monsters have changed throughout time. She taught of evolution in the different cultures and media and how these perceptions are just that, perceptions, not truths. At the age of 26, she created an organization called M.E.O.W. Inc. or "Monsters Evolving Our World, Incorporated. This organization is still in effect today and Miette is still an acting member. This organization goes around the world to teach children and adults how important "monsters" are and why they are perceived the way they are and to help promote unity amongst the human and creature world.
At the age of 29, Miette came back to Hogwarts to help spread the word on this issue so close to her heart. However, they needed her to teach Comparative Wizardry for one year because the previous professor disappeared during horrible portkey accident. So Miette taught the class and was made dHOH of Slytherin. (it was a condition she requested and demanded on returning).
Miette is on her 3rd term as professor at Hogwarts and will finally be teaching her Monsters In Cinema class and is currently the co-HOH of Slytherin.
