I need book recommendations please, I have read all the books in my room {which is about 300} over the course of my life and need some new books to read. I have read many books so it is pretty hard to find good books to read that I haven't read yet. I am open to any genre usually,  except graphic novels and things like that. I have read shakespeare and enjoyed it so I am siriusly open to anything and will take about any recommendations that I can get at this point. I will take series recommendations or just single books. PLEASE HELP ME WITH RECOMMENDATIONS I NEED THEM AND AM LITERALLY GOING TO DIE IF I DON'T FIND A BOOK TO READ! {Okay maybe not literally but still...}

Hello Jade! Welcome to HOL. You've actually READ Shakespeare? <<<gulp>>>

No worries about finding some first rate book suggestions. We have lots of readers here! Our main HOL forum (click here) has a Book Club under the main Clubs and Departments heading. Also, under Students' Lounge - Discussion - is Book Talk :D

You're bound to find some new books, and help others just like yourself find their new favorite book.

I'm currently reading The Soul of Psychosynthesis. It's not for everyone, or even most people.  I'm not the best at book recommendations...sorry.

Book Recommendations - Yep! I guess I'll be of some help.

1.) The Chronicles Of Narnia Series - I love them! A must read.

2.) The Magic Of The Lost Temple - The author is Sudha Murty, I like all her books.

3.) The Diary Of A Wimpy Kid series - I haven't read them all, but so far, I guess they're good.

I can't remember anything much right now, so, I'll get back to you. Hope you like these! 😄

Have you tried reading the original Sherlock Holmes stories from Arthur Conan Doyle? They're very cleverly written! A couple of ones I read this past year that stuck with me were 'Washington Black' by Esi Edugyan, 'Station Eleven' by Emily St. John Mandel, 'Little Darlings' by Melanie Golding and Tomi Adeyemi's Legacy of Orisha books (the third one is yet to come out, but they're fantastic!) I'm yet to read them but anything by James Herbert is supposed to fantastic too!

The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare is really good.  She also wrote Mortal Instruments.

For fantasy,  I would also recommend:

Keys to the Kingdom by Garth Nix

Memory, Sorrow & Thorn Trilogy by Tad Williams

Modern Faerie Tales by Holly Black

If you like Steampunk here are some good ones:

A Latent Dark by Martin Kee

The Clockwork Giant by Brooke Johnson

Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger

Hope that helps!

I am going to add some of those to my own list I think Emily, Memory, Sorrow and Thorn seems particularly interesting! I think I am going to have to keep revisiting this thread to steal some book suggestions 😅
