November 2019 Game Challenge: Marble Madness

We'll go to an underrated Atari game for the third challenge of the year.  The game this time will be Marble Madness!

Coming out in 1984, Marble Madness was just after the golden age of the video arcade.  It has unique gameplay and dynamics that were unprecedented at the time!  You control a marble that you need to maneuver down a track before time is up.  The first track, "Practice", is straightforward enough - with your only enemy being the course itself, but the next stage, "Beginner", features creatures whose goal is to run into you and stop your path!  The good news is that being attacked by an enemy, or falling off the course, doesn't kill you; you will respawn a few seconds later.  But those are seconds you won't be having to race down the course, and the clock is ticking...

As a side note, Muggles may recognize that the "Beginner" phase feels A LOT like driving a Muggle car down a crowded street or maneuvering it out of a 'multi-storey garage'... just when you've maneuvered one set of obstacles out of the way, a fresh set of obstacles is ready to take their place!

For this month's challenge, you want to go to THIS LINK to play Marble Madness.  Screencap your best performance (and post it in this thread) by November 30 at 11:59 PM HOL!

-Participation at all will earn you 5 scales.

-If you score 1000 points or higher - or beat the "Practice" race, your screencap will earn you 10 scales instead of 5.

-The top three scores of the month will get extra scales (25, 20, and 15 respectively for the month instead of 5 or 10) as well as special awards!

PS:  Feel free to edit your post throughout the month as you improve your score!
