The first logic puzzle race is now complete! Darkn3sss is now the owner of a BETA CAPSULE, which allows him to turn into Ultraman once a week to defeat any monster!

1st - Darkn3sss - 25 XP
2nd - Sh1l0h - 20 XP
3rd - K3Ndragon - 15 XP
GhostWalker - 10 XP
Namnori - 5 XP
Scarl3t - 5 XP

For those who were unable to make it to the race, here is the puzzle:

Namnori decided to take a detour to the world of Archaide, where OASIS users code their childhood arcade gaming spots. He stopped by five different arcades and spent a different amount of credits at each (ranging from 20 credits to 100 credits). At each arcade, he played a different arcade game, including his favorite game - Robotron: 2084. He was pleasantly surprised to see that five of his fellow gunters had also stopped by Archaide and made the high score list for one of the five games that he played.

From the following information, determine the names of the arcades Namnori visited (one was Button Mash), how many credits Namnori spent at each arcade, which game he played, and which gunter was on the high score list.

1. Namnori spent 20 more credits at the Silver Coin arcade than at the Outer Limits arcade. diamondsciencer wasn’t on the high score list for any game in the Pocket Change arcade.

2. The game Dig Dug was located in the Pocket Change arcade. He spent 40 less credits playing Ms. Pac-Man than the game that Darkn3sss had a high score on.

3. Namnori didn’t use up 60 credits playing the game Zaxxon. Neither diamondsciencer nor GhostWalker was the high scorer in the game BurgerTime.

4. Between GhostWalker’s high score and the game Dig Dug, one was at the Game Vault arcade and the other one cost Namnori 20 credits. The Silver Coin arcade didn’t have high scores by Sh1l0h or Darkn3sss.

5. Namnori didn’t spend 80 credits playing the game BurgerTime. He spent 60 more credits playing the game in which K3Ndragon (who didn’t play Zaxxon) was a high scorer than the game located at the Game Vault arcade.

After the logic races, we did Wiki Races, in which people look for a path to go from Point A to Point B using only Wikipedia links!

The following people showed up for the races (and earn 5 XP each for doing so):  Darkn3sss, GhostWalker, K3Ndragon, K8lin, Namnori, Scarl3t, and Sh1l0h!  Also, 5 XP were awarded to the winner of each race (the five races are given below).

Race 1:  Travel from Oasis to Nineteen Eighty Four (winner: Namnori)

Race 2:  Travel from  Nineteen Eighty Four to Robotron: 2084 (winner: Sh1l0h)

Race 3:  Travel from Robotron: 2084 to Odyssey (winner: Scarl3t)

Race 4:  Travel from Odyssey to Rubik's Cube (winner: Namnori)

Race 5:  Travel from Rubik's Cube to Final Destination (winner: Sh1l0h)

For winning TWO races, Namnori and Sh1l0h have each been awarded a one-time warp!  This allows the user a chance to jump directly to any planet, provided that they have already unlocked the sector that the planet is in.

Another logic puzzle race is in the books! Darkn3sss is now the owner of BLACK CHUCK TAYLOR ALL STARS, which will allow him to take an extra move once every three days!

1st - Darkn3sss - 25 XP
2nd -
Scarl3t - 20 XP
3rd - K3Ndragon - 15 XP
GhostWalker - 10 XP
K8lin - 5 XP
Namnori - 5 XP

For those who were unable to make it to the race, here is the puzzle:

Everyone in the OASIS knows Namnori's paypal account is flush with credits, and he's not shy about spending them either. He enjoys taking lavish vacations to far off worlds and souping up his custom Mach Five. But more than anything, he likes spending his credits on rare skins (outfits) for his avatar.

In fact, in the past five months alone, he's managed to get his hands on five new skins! He even spent 5,000 credits for one of them, wow! If you can figure out when he purchased each skin (January to May), where he found it (including Vega Remidian), and how much it cost, he'll give you an incredibly rare artifact. First person to p2p the correct answer to Namnori wins!

1. The skin that cost 1,000 credits was purchased one month before the 4,000-credit skin and three months before Namnori got his hands on the "Great Saiyaman" skin, which wasn't found on Finagle's Rest.
2. Namnori's "Mystic" skin was acquired in either January or February. "Battle Armor" is one of his favorite skins.
3. Namnori didn't travel to Belegost in April, and he's had the "Demon Clothes" skin since before May.
4. The skin that cost 2,000 credits was won in an auction one month after Namnori acquired the "Mystic" skin. The skin found on Belegost, the one bought in January, and "Demon Clothes" are three different skins.
5. Of the skin found on Night and the one that cost 3,000 credits, one was bought in January and the other was "Great Saiyaman". Of the two skins found before March, one was on GC-818 and the other was the "Super Saiyan" skin.

Tonight, after a fun logic race, we did a final round of Wiki Races, in which people look for a path to go from Point A to Point B using only Wikipedia links!

The following people showed up for the races (and earn 5 XP each for doing so):  Darkn3sss, GhostWalker, Namnori, Scarl3t, and Sh1l0h!  Also, 5 XP were awarded to the winner of each race (the five races are given below).

The final logic puzzle race of this year's Emerald Cup competition is now over! For participating in the race, all gunters got the chance to ask the MAGIC 8 BALL one "yes or no" question about the OASIS!

1st - Darkn3sss - 25 XP
2nd - Namnori - 20 XP
3rd - K3Ndragon - 15 XP
GhostWalker - 10 XP
Sh1l0h - 10 XP
Scarl3t - 5 XP

For those who were unable to make it to the race, here is the puzzle:

The High Five were hanging out in The Basement one day and the conversation shifted to the best Flicksyncs they have ever completed, including “Ghostbusters.” One of the reasons why these Flicksyncs are so memorable is because each gunter received a cool artifact, such as an Etch-a-Sketch, after finishing the Flicksyncs.

For each member of the High Five, figure out how long it took to complete the Flicksync (one gunter took 59 minutes), which movie the Flicksync was from, and what artifact the gunter received.

1. The five gunters were the one with the movie “Short Circuit,” the one who took 36 minutes to get through their Flicksync, Aech, the one who received the View-Master artifact, and the one that had “Say Anything” as their movie.

2. The gunter that finished their Flicksync in 47 minutes didn’t receive the View-Master artifact. Daito either has the Rubik’s Cube artifact or the View-Master artifact. It took Shoto 41 minutes to finish his Flicksync.

3. The “Short Circuit” Flicksync took 41 minutes, which was longer than the “Red Dawn” Flicksync. The Skip-It artifact wasn’t from the Flicksync of the movie “Legend” and doesn’t belong to Parzival.

4. Daito’s Flicksync ran longer than the one for “Red Dawn.” The 52-minute Flicksync wasn’t the movie “Say Anything.” Art3mis’s Flicksync took longer than the one with the Skip-It artifact as a reward.

5. Between the Rubik’s Cube artifact owner and Art3mis, one did the Flicksync of “Say Anything” and the other completed the 41-minute Flicksync. Parzival doesn’t have the Magic 8 Ball artifact.
