Name: Rory V. Cohen

Wand: Chestnut wood, dragon core, 12 1/2 inches, hard

Pet: a rather lazy orange cat, named Benson

Physical Description:  She is 5'4, rather slim, and fast on her feet. Her hair is a deep brown, almost black, and pin straight. It falls to her mid back, with bangs that are almost always pinned off to either side because of how much they've grown out. Her eyes are about the same color as her hair.

Brief Personal History: Rory is a half-blood, with a pure-blood mother and a half-blood father. She has two brothers: one older, a Ravenclaw, and one younger, not yet of age to be sorted. Due to her parents' jobs, she practically lived in Diagon Alley before her Hogwarts days. Because her parents were busy, she picked up a habit of sneaking around, getting into a good deal of mischief before her Hogwarts days. To this day, she has a habit of simply taking things that interest her, with a lack of care as to who would miss the stuff she finds. 

Temperament: Always curious, almost always sarcastic, Rory displays the sharp tongue of a scholar when she decides to speak. Despite this, she is always willing to lend an ear to housemates in need of someone to listen. She spends a lot of time in the library, but even more in the common room with her cat. Generally, she is quiet and contemplative. When talking to a friend, however, she can talk for hours on end. 

Special Possessions: A metal puzzle, two keys interlocking. She can solve and unsolve it in a matter of seconds, making it no more than something to fidget with. 

Greatest Fear: Failure

Future Goals: To get Outstanding on every OWL and NEWT and teach a class on curses after graduation.
