Well, my birthday is coming to an end. It's kind of surreal thinking about how I'm an adult now and all? 18 is where I come of age and everything, so I'm looking forward to my party now. I've been thinking about how HOL has been a part of my life since I was in 8th grade and I hope it continues to be part of my life for at least a bit into my college years. In terms of HOL things, I'm trying to finish up my assignments for Potions and Poisons. Then, I will go back and work through my assignments for my other classes. I still have a bit of time. I'm looking forward to the quidditch game this weekend and I hope I get to play. I've also been pretty proud of myself for keeping up with Snakes and Tinsel activities even when I was without a laptop for a week. Scales awarded ~Max

Well this week has been uneventful. 6 days until my birthday. For HOL this week, Snakes & Tinsel has been definitely keeping me busy. I have to send my laptop in to get fixed tomorrow, so I might miss a few tasks. :/ I've also gotten my Poisons homework done for this month and hooray for not procrastinating like usual. I haven't been botting as much, which I really should do to get into shape in case I do end up playing in the game versus HQT. In real life, I've been busy scrambling to write out the guest lists and things for my birthday party. I never knew planning a party in under a month could be this stressful. I'm really looking forward to it and the fact that school gets off for break on the 19th. Scales awarded ~Max

I've decided on starting a journal pretty late this year. I've also decided on splitting it between writing a bit about my HOL life and my real life. Just recently, Slytherin beat Ravenclaw in a Quidditch game. This was the first official quidditch game I played in in 2 years. I was super nervous and I actually had to run home from my brother's birthday party in order to make the game. I was super nervous to be playing, but I still had so much fun! I had loads of more fun being able to celebrate with my lovely Quidditch team afterwards. I wouldn't trade them for the world.<3 In other news, I've also gotten a chance to catch up with some of my old HOL friends that no longer have the time to be on this website, but it's nice to talk to them for the first time in years. I don't know if anyone remembers Destri Weasley, Lisette Westeveldt, and Chadwick Cadet, but they were super close friends of mine and it was nice getting to see how their lives are going now. In real life, I have finals next week which I'm hoping to do well on. In terms of things to look forward to, 2015 is drawing to a close and 2016 has so much in store for me! I'm excited to be meeting a few of my online friends as well as my boyfriend of a year and a half in January. I can't wait for plenty of Skype dates to turn into real dates.
