Sure thing! Here's your alternative task.

You hear something after your initiation day that makes it clear you have to hurry. Perhaps the Rosenkreuz Order has received information that there is someone infiltrated in their ranks, or perhaps Byron has come up with a timeline that expedites the attack on the Wizarding World. Perhaps it's neither of the above - feel free to be as creative as you'd like!

In at least 200 words, describe the event that forced you to pick up the pace, how you got to know about that change and what you intend to do next.

Post this prompt, as well as your reply to it, in the Week 2, Task 6 thread.

After my initiation I was walking through a corridor making my way back to my room. Nearing the end of the corridor I could suddenly hear hushed but frantic whispering. Creeping forward I peered around the wall into the next corridor to see a door not far from me. It was ajar, and I could see two people talking, one person had his robe up so I could not see his face but the other one didnt and i recognised him to be the second in charge.  Making sure know one else was around I tiptoed closer standing next to the ajar door but out of sight, but now I could hear their voices clearly.

"How was this allowed to happen?" The second in command demanded as he struggled to keep his voice down.

     "Someone here messed up"

"Who?! And who is the traitor?!"

"We don't know either, but we'll find out and when they do. They will wish for death when we are finished with them"

Edging forward when they started moving away from the door, I accidentally knocked the door making it creak and the voices inside stopped. Rushing away from the door I hid behind a pillar opeing I wouldnt be discovered, i heard the door open and my heart stopped. Holding my hand over my mouth to mask my harsh breathing i waited for the inevitable, but thankfully luck was on my side and just as my location was about to be discovered, two new members came walking down the corridor talking loudly which made the man rush back into the room and he slammed the door shut.

Realising a breath of relief my mind starting stering. They knew they had an imposter but they didnt know who it was. But she knew they wouldn't  stop until they found them. She knew what she had to do, in order for her to complete her task she needed to get the attention far away from her and in order to do that she needed to make someone else look guilty.

  2. As we join this order,

    we offer our life

    to pledge our service,

    our knowledge and wisdom.

    We do not fear

    we do not surrender

    we fight for the cause

    and will not be deterred

    We are just

    we are faithful

    we are loyal

    we live to serve

We do not have time for traitors

    for cowards

    we will banish all

that are not strong enough for our cause

  3. I will assume the Identity of Lily Rettendon, born 5th  november 2003 making me 19 going on 20 years old. I have been told that I look a lot younger then I am which is 27 so I think I could pass as someone younger, which will help me seem a bit naive and less of a threat.

I was born in Cardiff South Wales and always shown a keen interest in the dark arts and its creatures. I also have a speciality in potions and love to experiment, trying to create potions with different effects. I have  a smooth tongue and can talk myself out of nearly any situation and persuade people to do what I want.

I overheard a conversation about Rosenkreuz Order stating they were all powerful and they had great knowledge of magic for good and evil, which is somthing that I want to be a part of, I think I would be a great asset to the order, whos going to suspect a 19 year old girl of being part of an order or being up to something.

  4. The Cambridge Apostles also know as the Cambridge Conversazione Society  is a society based in an england at the University of Cambridge. It was founded in 1820 by a student called George Tomlinson who later became the first Bishop of Gibraltar. They met to discuss and debate topics such as god and ethnics. The origin of the Apostles' nickname dates from the original membership of 12. Members came from colleges of st john, trinity and kings.

Women were invited to join the Apostles from the 1970's. But you couldn't just join the Apostles, in the early days, election was unanimous. A potential candidate didnt know he was proposed till they were accepted. At initiation members were briefed on society's history and traditions, and would sign the book which is a leather bound diary which all members had signed. They would then swear a curse or vow of secrecy.

Active member which were usually undergraduates were called Apostles and former members such as fellows or graduates were called angels. Every few years amid great secrecy all the angels were invited to a dinner at Cambridge college or a london venue.

There has been many influential people apart of the Apostles such as John Maynard Keynes, Leonard Woolf, Lytton Strachey and his brother James, GE Moore and Rupert Brooke . The Apostles also included supposed spies of the Cambridge five Guy Burgess, Anthony Blunt and John Cairncross.

At its core the society is a discussion group. Early members met Saturday evenings in college rooms where Whales which is sardines and toast and coffee were served. The assigned speaker delivered his paper, which stated the subject was opened for debate and members voted. It was a point of honour that the question voted on should bear only a tangential relationship to the matter debated.
